A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Julie Haas starting in the spring of 2013. We seek an individual to conduct research on electrical synapse dynamics and plasticity using in vitro thalamocortical networks. Experience with in vitro electrophysiology and/or optogenetic methods is strongly recommended. Training opportunities may cover quantitative analyses, computational modeling and widefield imaging methods.
