Altitude Student Leadership Conference

Altitude is a student-run leadership conference designed to engage college students from Eastern Pennsylvania and the surrounding area.  Student participants are challenged to see the potential they have to reach great heights through continuous leadership education and development.  The core philosophy of Altitude is to empower students to take personal responsibility for their leadership development by providing them with resources, strategies and practical skills that will enable them to face new and evolving leadership challenges. Students will have the opportunity to network with presenters and other participants to understand real world leadership experiences and strategize the best way for a leader to navigate the higher altitudes of leadership development as they ascend to their personal peak of performance!

This years theme is Innovative Leadership: Connecting Creativity and Imagination to Leadership Potential. The focus of Altitude this year is to create an atmosphere where eager students can connect with each other and professionals to learn about innovative leadership practices and strategies.  Ideally this student experience will spark discussions that will drive change in the various communities that are represented.

By examining conventional and unconventional leadership styles, characteristics and roles, students will be able to see the immense value that leadership involvement can contribute to their future individual success and the success of organizations, groups and team.

Ideally, all Altitude participants will leave with new and enhanced leadership skills that they can immediately put to use on their campuses and in other aspects of their lives.
