To sign up for your article(s), send an e-mail to Ms. Vicki Waldron, Asst. to the Chair, Department of Biological Sciences, at vaw3@lehigh.edu.
For presentations based on virus articles in the January, February, or March 2007 issues of the CDC journal Emerging Infectious Diseases, Vicki will need to know the requested date of your presentation and the citation (title, first author, month) of the article. These presentations will be on March 28, March 30, April 2, April 4, April 6, and April 9.
For your second presentation, choose any virus article you wish in a 2007 issue of any of the journals listed on the course website. When you choose this article, Vicki will need to know the full reference ( such as "Smith et al., "Effect of drug X on replication of virus Y", Journal name, date, pages). These presentations will be on April 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, and 27.
There will be two 25 minute presentations per day. You may reserve your date before you have chosen your article, if you wish.
