The Office of Fellowship Advising (OFA) helps Lehigh students apply for competitive national fellowships and scholarships. It publicizes opportunities, oversees the selection of candidates for awards that require university nomination and, with the assistance of Fellowship Advisors, guides students through the frequently complicated application procedures. Students who are interested in applying for awards and faculty members working with motivated, well-qualified students are encouraged to contact the office.
This site contains two lists of scholarships and fellowships:
1. “Undergraduate Awards” are scholarships and other grants which students hold before taking their bachelor's degrees and, in a few cases, during the summer following graduation.
2. “Graduate Awards” are fellowships which support study at graduate school. Generally, applicants must be either seniors or graduate students.
Other sections of the site provide three types of information: the latest news and deadlines of the major awards; advice about how to present an effective application; and a compendium of publications, databases, and web-sites pertaining to awards in general. Similar information is contained in the OFA's National Fellowships and Scholarships, which is published in August.
We welcome your suggestions about how to improve this site & the services provided by the OFA.
