Programs and Services

The Office of Multicultural Affairs is readily available to provide students, the campus and surrounding communities with a variety of engaging programs and services. Our programs serve as the heart and soul for bridging cross cultural development and understanding throughout the fabric of the institution. We are energized by our many occasions to partner with campus departments, offices, organizations, student groups and others who make up the Lehigh family to be able to provide the Institution with innovative and exciting cultural opportunities.

Our cultural heritage programs are extensive and engaging as we seek to celebrate and embrace the rich diversity of our community. Throughout the year, join us in celebration of Asian Pacific Heritage, Black History, and Hispanic Heritage Months, our annual MLK Celebration, Kwanzaa, the Diwali Festival of Lights, dance festivals, jazz and poetry sets and a host of other events that will tantalize your cultural senses! For more information about the variety of programs and services available to you in the Office of Multicultural Affairs and through the Multicultural Center, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Emergency Loan Fund

Through the generosity of an anonymous donor, the Office of Multicultural Affairs is able to offer small, interest free emergency loans to enrolled Lehigh undergraduate students (graduate students may be eligible for loans under extreme circumstances). Loan amounts range from $25 to $500 and will be granted for emergencies associated with educational expenses. If you are in need of an emergency loan, please contact the Office of Multicultural Affairs in person (University Center, room 203) or via phone (610-758-5973) to complete an application or with additional questions.
