Group of Summer Excel Students

The Summer Excel program is a 6-week pre-college experience for incoming first year students. The program focuses on academic excellence through the development of leadership skills and equips students with the tools to successfully navigate the University community.

Students spend the summer living on-campus, earning academic credits for coursework relevant to their majors, and exploring leadership models with peers, faculty and staff. The summer is also fully equipped with fun events and excursions. The program has a long standing history of success in helping students transition smoothly from high school to college life.
