Entrance Loan Counseling

Completing a student loan entrance counseling session prior to obtaining a Federal Stafford student loan for the first time is mandated by the federal government. This session ensures that you fully understand your rights and obligations as a student loan borrower. Whether the student is receiving a subsidized and/or unsubsidized loan this counseling session must be completed once.  Please complete the session online by selecting the following:

Once you have successfully completed the online session an acknowledgement will be sent to the Financial Aid Office.  Then the University's Banner system will be updated.
