Lehigh University is an independent, nondenominational, coeducational university located in Bethlehem, PA. Founded in 1865 as a predominantly technical four-year school, the University now has 4,500 undergraduates within its three major units – the College of Engineering and Applied Science, the College of Business and Economics, and the College of Arts and Science. In addition, approximately 2,000 students are enrolled in graduate programs offered by these colleges and the College of Education. Lehigh's research activities provide additional training and scholarship opportunities for students. Lehigh offers the degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, Master of Engineering, Master of Arts, Master of Business Administration, Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Arts and Doctor of Education.
