I have chosen to include images of
President Nixon that focus on his earlier years
or his more personal moments. My criticism of Stone's
film is his
hyper-focusing on the presidential years and his hard-and-fast
connections to Nixon's childhood and earlier experiences. I have
collected citations and images that I feel provide a multi-faceted
approach
to understanding President Nixon. The purpose of these pictures
is
to also see the real face of the "reel" Nixon we have come to know
through
popular culture.
