The note to students describes the nature and function of this site, as well as how and why students might use and contribute to it.

The advice for selecting a film contains hints and tips on how to start an appropriate film project.

The research questions are a list of prompts to help trigger study and research.

The research strategies section contains tips, hints, and resources to aid in the library and web research needed for Reel American History projects.

The project format section contains the Reel American History HTML Instruction Manual and templates designed to make the creation of web pages for the fourteen parts of the film projects less technically demanding.
