Our
Vision
TEAMWORK & DEDICATION
The Lehigh University Greek
System is an integral part of residential life on the Lehigh campus.
The offices of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs and Residential Services
strive together to provide comprehensive services to Lehigh's Greek
system like no other university in the country. Dedication is the key,
with full-time professionals and support staff in each office working
together to serve the Greek system 100% of the time.
The Fraternity and Sorority Affairs office
fosters a community of students, faculty, parents, and alumni dedicated
to enhancing the development of Lehigh students. Fraternity and Sorority
Affairs fulfills various roles by providing programs and services for
Lehigh's Greek community.
Greek Programming: The Fraternity
and Sorority Affairs office works with fraternity and sorority members
to provide educational, cultural, and leadership development programs
which meet their needs beyond the classroom.
Student Advising: The Fraternity
and Sorority Affairs staff is available to support students who experience
personal or academic problems. If you or someone you know needs support
or assistance, please contact the Fraternity and Sorority Affairs office.
Officer Training: Since fraternity
and sorority officers change from semester to semester, this office
provides leadership training programs for chapter officers in a wide
variety of areas.
Discipline: One role of Fraternity
and Sorority Affairs is to assist students in understanding the implications
of their actions. Fraternity and Sorority Affairs takes action through
disciplinary sanctions and educational experiences when Greek students
engage in behavior which is inconsistent with the standards of the
Lehigh Community.
Student Advocate: The Fraternity
and Sorority Affairs staff encourages students to contact us with concerns
or problems in any aspect of campus life. Fraternity and Sorority Affairs
represents students in policy formulation and helps them address specific
concerns.
Faculty/Alumni Advisors: Fraternity
and Sorority Affairs and the Greek Alumni Council help identify, train,
and educate Faculty and Alumni Advisors. This office offers many resources
to Faculty Advisors, Alumni Advisors, and Alumni corporation officers.
IFC/Panhellenic Advisors: The
Interfraternity (IFC) and Panhellenic Councils represent fraternity
and sorority interests. Members of this office staff share their expertise
and knowledge of Greek affairs as advisors to these organizations.
