Reserving Space
Where Can I Reserve Space?
Call the Reservation Desk at 610-758-4163. It is located on the first floor in the University Center. It is advisable to make room reservations as early as possible. Forms are also available on-line and in a PDF format. See our Forms page.

There is a limited supply of audio visual equipment available on a first requested basis. The equipment available for use: TV/VCR's, Overhead Projectors, Slide Projectors, Screens, Podiums, Microphones, Easel's, Easel Paper (markers are not supplied) NEC Projector, Infocus Projector, Speaker Phone ($10 charge). Non-university users will be charged an equipment rental fee.
ALL RESERVATIONS MUST BE CANCELLED WITH OUR OFFICE. IN ORDER TO AVOID A NON CANCELLATION CHARGE PLEASE ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING GUIDE: Asa Packer Room (7) days in advance; 303, 308, 403 with food or major set up 72 hours in advance; all other rooms 48 hours in advance. In the event that sponsoring user has multi rooms reserved (7) days advance notice is required.

Security charges are determined by the operating hours for that date. A security fee per hour will be charged for any hours that the building would not have otherwise been opened.
A confirmation will be sent out to the sponsoring user. It is the responsibility of the user to carefully read over the confirmation. Contact the Reservation Desk with any changes or cancellations.
SALES, FUND-RAISING AND INFORMATION TABLE PROCEDURES FOR THE UNIVERSITY CENTER AND ULRICH STUDENT CENTER
Campus-wide or fund-raising projects must be registered and approved by the Dean of Students Office. This can be done by filling out a Request Form at: The University Center Reservation Desk, first floor. The University Center and Ulrich Student Center are the locations of all sales.
 
Door-to-door solicitation for profit in residence facilities is prohibited. Approval for charitable fund-raising must be given by the Associate Dean of Students for Residence Life.
All fund-raising most provide either a service or a product to the donor. All funds exceeding expenses must be given to the designated charity.
Advertising of any alcoholic beverages is prohibited and alcoholic beverages may not be offered as awards or prizes. Gift certificates to restaurants, offered as prizes, must have noted that it cannot be used towards alcohol.

Procedures:
A reservation must first be made at the University Center Reservation Desk for any event held in the University Center, Ulrich Student Center, or Lamberton Hall. When making your reservation, please inform the Reservation Staff that you are planning to serve alcohol at the event.
An Alcoholic Beverage Service Form will be attached to your confirmed reservation. This form must be completed by all sponsoring parties that would like to serve alcoholic beverages at an event. (See link listed below to print out a form.)
After completing the form, RETURN ALL COPIES TO THE RESERVATION DESK at least two weeks prior to the event. The serving time of alcohol at a reception should be limited to forty-five minutes but cannot be longer than one hour. Wine is the only alcoholic beverage that can be served with dinner and must be served by the glass.
After your form has been reviewed, you will receive a date-stamped copy of the original form.
In the event that your function is cancelled, contact the U. C. Reservation Desk (610) 758-4163 as well as contacting Dining Services directly (610) 758-4512. Failure to cancel with both offices will result in the sponsoring organization paying any associated charges!
Security will be required at any event that is not held during regular building operational hours. The charge is $20 per hour and will be billed to the sponsoring user.
YOUR ATTENTION IS DIRECTED TO PENNSYLVANIA LAW WHICH PROHIBITS THE SERVING, FURNISHING, AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES TO OR BY A PERSON UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE.
BANNER REQUEST
Banners may be hung out the 2nd and 3rd floor windows on the south side of the University Center and the main lobby of the Ulrich Student Center. Banners must be approved at the Reservation Desk in the University Center before being hung. The maximum that a banner will be hung is three days. Banners will be discarded when taken down. Our office is NOT responsible for lost or stolen banners.
