There are a variety of student job opportunities within the University Center, Ulrich Student Center, and Lamberton Hall.
- University Center
Building Supervisor
Basic Job Description:
A Building Supervisor handles the day to day operations at the University Center/Ulrich Student Center Information Desk; audio visual set-ups and take-downs of equipment; issues student organization keys; provides security for the patrons of each center; sets up and takes down tables and chairs at the Ulrich Student Center; secures the centers at lock up; assists with office related duties; answer phones; other duties as assigned. Excellent position to gain experience for your resume.
Hours:
Paid training is provided and lasts approximately six weeks. During training each trainee will work a combination of day, evening, and weekend hours over the six week period to expose the trainee to all aspects of the position. After training concludes each Building Supervisor will be able to arrange a set schedule which may include rotational weekend hours.
Qualifications:
Work Study
Must be a dependable and responsible. Willing to take initiative and work independently. Excellent customer service and phone skills are necessary
Pay Rate:
During training pay rate is $6.00 per hour. Rate increases to $7.00 per hour after training concludes and two week job evaluation has been completed.

Reservation Assistant
Basic Job Description:
To assist all aspects of room reservations for the University Center, Ulrich Student Center, Lamberton Great Room, and Asa Campus Outdoor Spaces on a computer reservation event system. Each Assistant is responsible for confirming, sending out and filing of reservations. Responsible for learning the RESS reservation program so that room availability can be checked, confirmed, updated, and/or cancelled as necessary, and print varies reports for staff. To answer telephone calls relating to reservations and equipment as well as building information and to periodically check incoming e-mailed reservation requests. To place return calls to sponsoring event holders. Assist with varies Microsoft programs as needed. Assist with all aspects of outside vendors such as questionnaires, requests for sales, space rental, and distribution of forms. Excellent position to gain experience for your resume.
Hours:
Flexible hours Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Paid training is provided and lasts approximately eight weeks.

Office Assistant
Qualifications:
Computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Internet.
Customer Service skills - will be helping students and communicating with faculty and staff.
Office skills - answering phone, taking accurate messages, typing, prepare flyers, mailings, etc.
Able to work 8-10 hours per week during University office hours (8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.)
Must be reliable and prompt.
Able to be discreet in dealing with confidential matters.
Must be funded by work-study.

Moonlight Cafe Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- To assist with event production at Moonlight Cafe
- To assist with set up and break down of Cafe
- To act as liaison with performers
- Monitor Equipment
- To record attendance
- To act as site supervisor
- To perform duties as assigned
