Housing Withdraw
Students who withdraw, are suspended, expelled or are otherwise dismissed from the university are required to remove their belongings from their residence hall and return keys within 48 hours from the time withdrawal, suspension, expulsion, or dismissal goes into effect.
All personal property must be completely removed from the room.
All keys that you were issued must be returned to the Campus Police, Office of Residential Services or Residence Life Staff member PRIOR to your departure. The penalty for not returning a room key is $25 to change the lock on the room.
If eligible, refund of residence hall housing rental charges will not be considered until the room is vacated and all residence hall keys issued have been returned to the Office of Residential Services. Calculation of any proportionate refund will be determined by such date (See Financial Responsibility – Residence Hall Housing Deposit/Rental Refunds).
Students who withdraw in the Fall semester and are considering return in the following Spring semester MUST contact the Office of Residential Services directly regarding future housing arrangements.
